Indications

  • Consequences of diaphyseal fractures of the humerus and forearm bones after stable functional osteosynthesis, no earlier than 3–4 weeks after surgery
  • Fractures of the femur and shin bones after stable functional osteosynthesis, no earlier than 5–6 weeks after surgery
  • Fracture of the pelvic bones and acetabulum, 8–10 weeks after the injury (subacute period after surgery)
  • Fractures of the limb bones after stable functional osteosynthesis, 2–3 weeks after surgery (subacute period)
  • Operated dislocation of the shoulder joint
  • Meniscal tear, two weeks after surgery
  • Fracture of the shin bones, including the ankle joint (subacute period after surgery)
  • Conditions following surgery for intervertebral disc herniation, 2–3 weeks after the operation
  • After replacement of large joints (subacute period after surgery)
  • After microsurgical replantation of fingers and limbs
  • Rheumatoid arthritis (seropositive), slowly progressive course, activity grade I, radiological stage I–III, functional joint insufficiency grade I–II
  • Reactive arthropathies, chronic relapsing course, of various origins, progressing to secondary deforming osteoarthritis, radiological stage I–III, functional joint insufficiency grade I–II
  • Gout (gouty polyarthritis) between attacks, progressing to secondary deforming osteoarthritis, radiological stage I–III, functional joint insufficiency grade I–II
  • Ankylosing spondylitis (spondyloarthritis), activity grade I, various clinical forms, radiological stage I–III, functional joint insufficiency grade I–II
  • Primary deforming osteoarthritis, nodal and non-nodal forms, affecting the small and large joints and the spine, without synovitis, radiological stage I–III, functional joint insufficiency grade I–II
  • Secondary deforming osteoarthritis (post-traumatic), radiological stage I–III, functional joint insufficiency grade I–II

Contraindications

  • Bone fractures with full plaster casts on the limbs
  • Bone fractures with external fixation devices for transosseous osteosynthesis on the limbs
  • Bone fragments neither reduced nor fixed, that is, no prospect of benefit from rehabilitation treatment
  • Fractures of the limb bones with infected wounds or trophic ulcers
  • Inflammatory polyarthropathies of activity grade II–III, radiological stage IV, functional insufficiency grade III
  • Inability of the patient to move and care for themselves independently
  • General contraindications to referral to a rehabilitation department
  • General contraindications to health resort treatment
