Indications

  • Subacute period after lung surgery, including for suppurative processes of non-tuberculous origin: condition following surgery on the respiratory organs for diseases of non-tuberculous and non-oncological origin (J85, J86, J93–J95)
  • Condition following surgery for congenital defects and benign tumours of the lungs (D14)
  • Patients after successful lung surgery for localised bronchiectasis (J47)
  • Lung abscesses: condition 2–3 months after surgery, without signs of intoxication, with cardiopulmonary failure no higher than grade IB (J85)
  • Subacute period of lung disease: condition following pneumonia, with cardiopulmonary failure no higher than grade IB (J12–J18)
  • Bronchiectasis with limited infiltrative changes and purulent sputum, with cardiopulmonary failure no higher than grade IB (J47)
  • Other chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with cardiopulmonary failure no higher than grade II (J44, J44.8, J44.9)
  • Pleurisy and pleural adhesions following dry and exudative pleurisy, with cardiopulmonary failure no higher than grade IB (J94)

Contraindications

  • Condition after lung surgery with tracheobronchial fistulas present
  • Condition after unsuccessful surgery for suppurative processes, with pleural effusion present
  • General contraindications to health resort treatment
  • Flare-up of bronchiectasis (J47) or chronic bronchitis (J41) with raised body temperature, high ESR and other changes in the blood count
  • Bronchial asthma with frequent severe attacks, and with moderate attacks without stable control on baseline therapy (J45.0–J45.1)
