  • of the cornea and sclera (H15–H22)
  • of the vitreous body (H43) and the retina (H33–H34)
  • reconstructive surgery of the eye and its adnexa (H59)
  • benign tumours of the eye and its adnexa (D31)
  • Circulatory disorder of the retinal vessels (H34)
  • Sequelae of severe eye injuries (S05)

Contraindications

  • Acute infectious diseases of the eye and its adnexa
  • Acute diseases of the eye and its adnexa; chronic eye diseases in the acute phase or with a latent course
  • Acute circulatory disorders of the retina and optic nerve (thrombosis and embolism of the central retinal artery or central retinal vein)
  • Severe retinal damage (retinopathy) and damage to the optic nerve and its blood supply against a background of systemic disease (arterial hypertension, atherosclerosis and similar) (H35)
  • Degenerative processes in the retina and choroid accompanied by haemorrhages and changes (H31.1, H31.3)
  • Retinal detachment — recent and unoperated, or successfully operated within the past year (H33)
  • Malignant tumours of the eye and its adnexa
  • Glaucoma in the acute stage (attacks); uncompensated glaucoma at any stage of the disease; absolute glaucoma; secondary uncompensated glaucoma during a flare-up (H40–H42)
  • General contraindications to health resort treatment
