Indications

  • Subacute period of myocardial infarction (with or without surgery on the cardiac vessels): first acute myocardial infarction (I21.0–I21.9)
  • Recurrent myocardial infarction (I22–I22.9)
  • Condition following treated unstable angina (I20), with or without surgery on the cardiac vessels
  • Subacute period after heart surgery: for congenital heart defects, infective endocarditis (I33–I39)
  • for dilated and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (I42)
  • after removal of a cardiac myxoma (D15.1)
  • Circulatory disorders following medical procedures (subacute period after heart surgery) (I97)
  • Other functional disorders following heart surgery (I97.1)
  • Condition following coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic and mitral valve replacement, the Ozaki procedure, resection of a cardiac aneurysm, coronary artery aneurysm or aortic aneurysm; condition following angioplasty and coronary stenting (I97.1)
  • Condition following restoration of sinus rhythm in patients with atrial fibrillation and flutter, and with supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias (I48, I47.0–I47.9)
  • Following invasive procedures: catheter radiofrequency ablation; defibrillation and cardioversion; implantation or replacement of a pacemaker; implantation of a cardioverter-defibrillator

Contraindications

  • Circulatory failure above grade IIA (I50.0)
  • Coronary heart disease: angina pectoris, functional class IV (I20.0–I20.9)
  • Severe disorders of cardiac rhythm and conduction: paroxysms of atrial fibrillation occurring four or more times a month (I48); paroxysmal tachycardia (I47.0, I47.1, I47.9) with attacks more than two or three times a month; multifocal, grouped and early extrasystoles (R-on-T) (I49.8); second-degree atrioventricular block (I44.1); complete atrioventricular block (I44.2)
  • Recurrent thromboembolic complications: pulmonary embolism with acute cor pulmonale (I26.0)
  • Pulmonary embolism without acute cor pulmonale (I26.9); embolism and thrombosis of other veins (I82)
  • Subacute pericarditis (I30), other diseases of the pericardium (I31)
  • Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (E10), uncompensated and severe
  • Liver failure (K72)
  • Renal failure (N17–N18) above grade I
  • Acute cerebrovascular accident in the acute or subacute period (I60–I64)
  • General contraindications to health resort treatment
